Our Pastoral work is not limited to serving the youth but expands to humanitarian work, which embodies the love of Christ for all, through care and treatment centers.
In Jordan, Our Lady of Peace Center serves people with disabilities and helps them be active members of society. Also, the Latin parish in Anjara has an orphanage, which provides orphaned children with a safe environment to grow up in. In Palestine, you can find Beit Afram house for the elderly, which takes care of the disabled and the elderly, to ensure their right to a decent life. In addition, it provides them with appropriate medical and therapeutic services. In Haifa, work has begun to establish a new pastoral center that will serve the Christian community in Galilee and meet their needs.
The Latin Patriarchate has also a center to support those with problems of addictions, centers of support for families with problems, and other centers of support for the different poverties in our community.
The church also partners with many local hospitals and centers, which serve those in need in the community and provide rehabilitation and a wide range of charitable works to ensure their well-being.
